Administrative Assistant / Shipping Clerk needed for main office at agricultural processor located in Chico, CA.
Position is full time. Someone with flexibility is preferred as overtime (and weekends) may be required as needed and especially during peak season (approximately August - November). Must be detail oriented, professional, responsible, and work well within a team to complete assigned tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Assisting incoming and outgoing shipment drivers at weight scale window to accurately track and log truck weights and information.
- Data entry into databases with associated information.
- Answering multi-line phones; transferring calls; taking messages.
- Responding to emails
- Customer service to drivers and clients/customers.
- Greeting customers, employees, applicants & business associates.
- Assisting office personnel & management.
- Office duties such as filing, faxing, copying, emails.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must have great communication and customer service skills.
Must have experience working with computers & Microsoft suite including word & excel.
Must also have general office experience and familiarity with office equipment & procedures.
