Forklift Operator/Warehouse Laborer
Skilled forklift Operators needed in Chico, CA (other positions available in surrounding areas including Glenn & Orland). Seasonal positions with potential for advancement.
We are seeking reliable, experienced, and safe forklift operators to work in a warehouse environment moving pallets, products and material around our facilities. The positions involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities as well as maintenance on related equipment. Qualified candidates must be responsible and have at least 2 years (or seasons) of forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Unload materials from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Work efficiently and safely
- General warehouse duties as needed
- Transport raw materials to production areas
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- High degree of attention to detail and safety is required to help prevent injuries and promote a safe work environment.
- Closely follow instructions for operation of equipment and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
- Prior or current forklift certification.
- Must be reliable, punctual and hard working.
